I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. My background is as a Registered Nurse working in many different areas. When I started working in the area of mental health I found my true passion and worked to achieve my Masters in Counseling Psychology. Since then I have taken several courses to specialize in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ( CBT).
My focus is to help you make needed changes and to reach your goals. I work in collaboration with you to determine where you are and where you want to be.
I believe that everyone has the ability to identify and change the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that keep them from moving forward and living a happy healthy life. My therapeutic approach focuses on providing a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment where you feel comfortable processing your experience and making needed changes.
